Fluhrer Reed Engineer Achieves Professional Accreditation in the Design and Engineering of Green Buildings
January 15th, 2009
Chris Keelor of Fluhrer Reed has become one of only 27 structural engineers statewide to achieve national acreditation in the engineering and design of green buildings. He is now accredited by the U.S. Green Building Certification Institute for his thorough understanding of green building practices and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system — a nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. LEED Professional Accreditation indicates Chris has the knowledge and skills needed to design and manage projects that comply with the rigorous LEED process.
